My opponent wants to add one more layer of bureaucracy to the Bexar County Tax Assessor’s office. This is going to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to the budget. This is the DMV’s job and it would be a DISASTER to add this kind of expense to an already overburdened office. We don’t need to add a “police station” to the Tax Assessor’s office. Let’s make this office conservative, cost effective, and more efficient! So please help spread the word… SAY NO TO THE SCOFFLAW

Customers can choose to create an on-line account. This helps you monitor and maintain your single property or multiple properties on the Bexar County Assessors web site.
You can also make payments using this account. This will be helpful for individuals, businesses or people who manage property for themselves or others.
Extend the payment option from 4 times a year to 12 months. Allows people on fixed income to better manage their monthly bills. If the office accepts 1, 2 or 4 payment option then we can do a 12month option as well.
With my retail & wholesale business experience it is all about making the customer happy and good customer service. We the tax payer are the customer and we will not lose focus on that simple but important job.
I want to bring back the early payment dicount. If we are penalized for being late, why are we not rewarded for paying early?
